Note the underline words quoted above. The Apostles knew God is not far from them because they knew Him; and because they created companionship with Him.
Any child that claimed his parents are loving people it means there is mutual relationship between them. The testimony of the Apostles to the Jews and Gentiles proved that they know God as a loving father.
Vast majority of people today seek after whom to believe for their healing, breakthrough and miracles but forgotten that it is only what God says about them that matters. That is the only thing that can change their story
Matt 7:11..so, if you sinful people know how to give good gift to your children, how much more will your heavenly father give good gift to those who asked.. A loving father will not deprive his children their right if they understand him and do what is right. Majority of Christians had forgotten what God says about them. That is why they were running up and down to hear what people have to say about them. If you base your life on what people say you will be living outside Gods view, and that is very disastrous.
Jesus delayed His responds to the urgent call of His dying friend Lazarus because He wanted to know what they took Him for. He tested their trust in Him and what will be their conclusion if Lazarus eventually dies without His presence…
.Now read…. John 11:17…..when Jesus arrived at Bethany, He was told that Lazarus had already be in his grave for four days. Bethany was only a few miles down to the road from Jerusalem and many of the people had come to console Martha and mourning in their losses. When Martha got word that Jesus was coming, she went to meet Him. But many stayed in the house, Martha said to Jesus, Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask. Jesus told her, your brother will rise again..
Believe it or not, your understanding about God and His promises concerning you affects your life.
Did you have the understanding of what Martha told Jesus concerning the death of his brother and about Jesus arriver?
Verse 24…. Yes, Martha said, he will rise when everyone rises at the last day.
Martha’s understanding about Christ as God of punctuality is very low. That was why she could not comprehend what Jesus meant by saying "his brother will rise again.". Believe it or not your understanding about God and His promises concerning you affects your life. Martha postponed what Jesus can do in a minute till the resurrection of the death.
Haven't you postponed your financial breakthrough, marital success, freedom, healing, employment opportunity, vision fulfillment, fruits of the womb and your greatness by the words of your mouth? .You are afraid to speak what God speaks concerning your life as Martha did because she was afraid of the people that surrounded her not to laugh at her foolishness. If you confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord and you are sacred to speak what He says concerning you, you will delay your miracle.
So brethren, God is the finisher of our faith. Speak what He speaks about you. Place a demand on His promises concerning your life and you shall have testimony. Stay blessed.
