31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Dear Readers, freedom is everybody's desire but it is unfutunate today that many children of God are still dancing in bondage. To some, they know but they are not ready to be free while to some, they don't even know they are in bondage.
When you sell your soul to the devil either forcefully or willingly, he will control for everything you have including your thinking. Remember Jesus said, as a man thinketh so he his. Unknowinly to many believers, they have have sold their soul to the demons by their beliefs and practices. ( the pursuit of wealth and fame at all cost ) while some did so by fueling their mind with all sorts of ungodly voices. Remember what Jesus said, " If a son of man has made free"it means,if only you will allow Jesus to Control your life and also submit your will unto Him to perfect it, you are not free. Freedom is when you are unrestricted from your possesions and right. What posessions? Divine Blessings. And what Right? Eternal life. Therefore, To properly enjoy the freedom that Christ makes available to you, you need to control what goes into your mind. As long as you keep reading the wrong books, watching the wrong films/television shows and listening to the wrong music, you will continue to fall into error and satanic bondage.
The freedom that Christ promise is only made available for you in Him alone. In other words, if you live outside of Christ, then you are not free, rather, you are under lock and key by Satan. This is why you must be very selective of what goes into you. As Children of Light, If you are careless of what you consume, the devil will use that opportunity to bind you little by little until your character becomes totally corrupted then you will be rubbed of your Divine asset and access.
It is obvious that we are all living in global world where anything can be accessed with just a click. It is very good for easy life but more dangerous if we can not descern what is right for our soul or not. That is why the Scripture warned us in 1st Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devil. So, as Believers in Christ, we are in the world but not of this world. Therefore brethren, rather than feeding your mind on dirty or with irrelevant things, feed on the Word of God. The more of the Word of God that you feed on, the more freedom you have access to. In place of those bad books, read the Bible and Christian literature. In place of those immoral T.V shows, watch sermons and Christian films, in place of worldly songs, listen to good gospel music and inspirational talks. Be filled with the things of God so that the devil will not be unable to find any of his things in you....
Finally brethren, The Scripture says 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Believers in Christ, Fight for your freedom by feeding on the word of God...for we do not wrestle against flesh and Blood...
